In January, a corporate residence leased by 50 Cent in New Jersey was broken into, resulting in the theft of up to $3 million in jewelry and cash.
It was reported at the time that a 50’s home had been broken into, but according to his counsel, it was the apartment that had been broken into.
Since then, the police have been conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine who was to blame.
According to TMZ, police discovered a stolen vehicle near the crime scene, which they were able to link to the burglary, resulting in the arrest of the alleged culprits.
Burglary, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to conduct burglary, and criminal mischief have all been filed against Travis Villalobos, Richard Murphy, and Matthew Gale.
These men will now stand prosecution for the alleged burglary, and they could face serious consequences.
In terms of the stolen goods, 50 Cent and his team are still hoping that the police will be able to recover the money and jewels, albeit given that the theft occurred five months ago, it’s likely that all of that money is long gone.
