One of the adult film industry’s biggest stars has died tragically.
Dahlia Sky was found dead inside her vehicle in Los Angeles on June 30, just a month shy of her 32nd birthday.
Although there have been conflicting stories about the reason of her death, the New York Post reported that authorities are looking into Sky’s death as a “possible suicide.”
The Sun revealed more details about Sky’s struggles at the time, including her purported melancholy and a breast cancer diagnosis.
Many of Sky’s loved ones rushed to social media to express their grief after learning of her death from a gunshot wound.
Investigators have indicated that there is no evidence to suggest foul play, but a final judgement on Sky’s cause of death will not be made until autopsy results from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner are received.
“I chatted to her several times about life throughout her final year. Hans, the proprietor of JHP Films, a firm that purportedly co-produced some of Sky’s past work, stated, “It was not an easy trip for her.”
“It’ll take a long time to get over this, if it can be done at all. Dahlia Sky, you lovely spirit, you witty, complex, and warm-hearted companion! I’m going to miss you terribly.”
“She was super funny and she had a big heart,” producer Axel Braun said of the late 10-year adult film veteran.
“Unfortunately, her battle with breast cancer took a toll on her mental health and she struggled with depression, as most people would,” he added
“My heart breaks for her family and loved ones; we have lost a lovely soul.”
Sky’s loved ones claimed she was homeless and living in her car at the time of her death, according to the Daily Mail.
