Anna Faris and Michael Barrett deserve to be congratulated.
On her podcast, “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” the former “Mom” star confessed that she and fiancé Barrett discreetly eloped.
“I think we’ve spent the last year in a place of reflection, in a place of kind of prioritization to some degree, a place of anxiety, a place of like, whatever, assessment,” Faris shared.
“But I’m looking around, just so, just my fiancé’s right … he’s now my husband.”
Faris, 44, stated that she and the cinematographer, 51, married in a small courtroom ceremony on San Juan Island, Washington, and apologised for revealing their secret.
“We did, in fact, elope… Sorry for the inconvenience. I had no idea… Please accept my apologies, honey. I just blurted that out, but I don’t think I can say fiancée longer” Barrett, she said.
“Thank you so much; it was fantastic. It’s fantastic.”
She also said she told her relatives the news in a similar manner.
“‘You’re going to be a stepmom,’ my aunt said. ‘How do you feel about that?’ I replied, ‘Well, I am a stepmom as of about four days ago, but it was amazing.'”
This is the third marriage for the “House Bunny” star.
From 2004 until 2008, she was married to Ben Indra, and then in 2009, she married Chris Pratt. Faris and Pratt divorced in 2018, and they have an eight-year-old son named Jack.
Allison Janney, Faris’ former “Mom” co-star, confirmed the couple’s engagement in January 2020. With a yellow diamond engagement ring, he proposed.
Janney told CN News at the time, “I know she’s been engaged for a long time. I kept it extremely quiet, to tell you the truth! As a result, I’ve been celebrating with them for a long time.”
