Bill Cosby is considering filing a lawsuit against the state of Pennsylvania, alleging that his accusers’ lawyers have “an axe to grind against black men.”
Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s spokesperson, made the remarks on Friday.
Last month, the comedian was released from prison after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reversed his 2018 sexual assault conviction, claiming due process violations.
Cosby is seeking “a couple of hundred grand” in compensation, according to Wyatt.
Wyatt told The Domenick Nati Show, “We’re looking at what legal recourse we can take against the state of Pennsylvania.”
“Right now, we’re looking at all legal options for those things.”
Gloria Allred and her daughter Lisa Bloom, who represented several of the more than 60 women who came forwards to accuse Cosby of sexual harassment, were also chastised by Wyatt.
