Boosie Badazz has lived a full life throughout his 39 years on this planet, one that has been filled with as many highs as it has been filled with lows.
The rapper battled illness and a murder charge within a few years of each other, and he has survived many attempts on his life.
Despite this, he looks to be undisturbed by the ordeal. Even after collecting multiple awards and doing more than most during his professional career, it appears that his next step in life will be to experience some degree of normalcy in his life, beginning by enrolling in college, as he has done in the past.
While visiting Jackson State University over the weekend, Boosie Badazz declared his intention to enrol in the school’s Fall Semester programme.
Jackson State University has been a regular stop for the Baton Rouge rapper, who is slated to release two new albums by the end of the month.
He has been a regular visitor to the college since he was 14 years old. The singer said, “I love y’all, and you guys love my stanky underwear, and I love y’all back.”
“I just wanted to tell y’all that you’ve all been so supportive of me, and it’s a big secret that I wasn’t going to share with you, but I’m going to be enrolling in Jackson State University next semester.”
In his statement, the rapper did not specify the programme or courses that he will be enrolled in.
However, it appears that he will be enrolled in courses on campus, which means that Boosie will be a recognisable figure during the pep rally. The student said, “I want to know how it feels to stroll around campus and chat to females while wearing a book sack.”
“I’d like to return to normalcy. “I really miss that time in my life.”
“I want to enrol so that I can go down the ramp and into class, and I want to take the opportunity to test my brain because I still have some matter up there that has to be examined,” Boosie said.
