Friends In Shock At NSW Covid-19 Death Of Adriana Midori Takara

A 38-year-old Brazilian national with no pre-existing medical issues has been identified as a lady in her 30s who died of coronavirus in Sydney over the weekend.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian confirmed the woman’s death on Sunday, expressing her condolences to her family.

She stated, “I want to express my profound condolences to those families and loved ones who are hurting tonight.”

Jeremy McAnulty, NSW’s deputy chief health officer, said the woman was in her late 30s and from downtown Sydney.

She died in Sydney’s inner west at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Adriana Midori Takara, an accounting student who spiralled swiftly after getting the virus, was later identified, with astonished friends expressing tribute.

“She was immediately incapacitated by the infection. It’s quite disturbing.

“She was in good health, was employed, and had a partner. It’s a shock.”

She lamented the death of “not a number, but a sister and a friend” in another Facebook post.

“Adriana is a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunty, and a niece. She described him as an wonderful friend who is not only my friend but also a friend of many people.”

“Adriana is a lady with dreams and wishes, not a number.

“Look at the sky tonight; it will be brighter, and the brightest star will be my friend, who is peace away from all this madness” (sic).

““I can’t thank all the physicians enough for giving it their all.”

“All goodbyes were said over Zoom to audiences in Australia and Brazil,” a migration agent who knew Ms Takara told CN News.

The coronavirus sickness claimed the life of another woman in her 70s, according to officials.

The older woman was from Campbelltown, in south-west Sydney, and died there.

Ms Berejiklian stated that the death of the younger woman demonstrated that Covid-19 can be extremely hazardous to even young and healthy persons.

“If anyone thinks this is a sickness that only affects the elderly, please reconsider,” she urged.

After two deaths and 141 new locally acquired cases of Covid-19, New South Wales set a new record with over 100,000 tests.
