While working on 2017’s Justice League, Gal Gadot claims that Joss Whedon threatened her career. She responds by saying she “took care of it.”
“I had my disagreements with Joss, which I resolved. He threatened my career by saying that if I did something, he would ruin it, and I just took care of it instead “According to ComicBook.com, Gadot said in an interview with Israel’s N12.
Gadot didn’t elaborate about what “treated it” meant, but she has previously mentioned having an unpleasant encounter with Whedon.
Gadot teased that her encounter with Whedon “wasn’t the best” in response to Ray Fisher’s own accusations against the director.
Gadot told The LA Times, “I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his facts.” “I wasn’t with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon because I had my own bad encounter with him, but I took care of it there and then. I brought it to the attention of the higher-ups, who took care of it. But I’m glad Ray stood up and told it like it is.”
Fisher tweeted about Whedon’s friendship with Warner Bros. after Gadot’s interview was released.
“And to consider, @wbpictures let Joss Whedon walk away from his sister company and become a liability.”
In an interview we aired tonight on @N12News @GalGadot tells us about working with Joss Whedon: “I had my issues with Joss and I handled it. And to think, @wbpictures let Joss Whedon walk away and become a liability for their sister corporation.
Walter Hamada was aware of Joss’ behavior and he still tried to dissuade me from pursuing an investigation.
His reason? He knew Emmerich and Johns would be implicated.
