Jamie Lynn Spears has asked for people to stop sending death threats to her and her children after she came out against Britney Spears’ conservatorship.
The 30-year-old “Zoey 101” actress stated on Monday that she supports terminating Britney’s conservatorship, which is overseen in part by their father, James.
Jamie Lynn said on Instagram on Friday, “I appreciate that everyone has the freedom to express themselves, but can we please stop with the death threats, especially the murder threats to children.”
Maddie, who is 13 years old, and Ivey, who is three years old, are her two children.
Before Britney gave an impassioned address to a judge on June 23, seeking an end to the framework that limits her personal freedom, Jamie Lynn had seldom spoken publicly about her sister’s conservatorship.
“I’m not pleased, and I’m having trouble sleeping. It’s ridiculous how furious I am. I’m also depressed. Britney admitted, “I weep every day.” “It is my desire and my dream that this all comes to an end.”
Jamie Lynn then stated unequivocally that she is a fan of Britney Spears.
“I back her 100 percent if she wants to end the conservatorship if she wants to travel to Mars, or whatever the heck else she wants to do to be happy,” she added.
“I felt like it wasn’t my place, and it wasn’t the proper thing to do until my sister was ready to speak for herself and say what she thought she needed to say publicly.”
