DJ Khaled’s 12th studio album, Khaled Khaled, has finally arrived.
Khaled’s latest full-length, perhaps the biggest album to drop this week, is a 14-track effort that features guest appearances from some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Drake, Cardi B, Roddy Ricch, Rick Ross, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Justin Timberlake, and even the ever-elusive Beyoncé.
“Sorry Not Sorry,” a slow-burning track that samples Jay-classic Z’s album “Song Cry,” is perhaps one of the most mind-blowing pairings on Khaled Khaled.
Along with sampling Hov, Khaled’s jam-packed track features the legendary emcee as a guest feature, as well as Nas, James Fauntleroy, and Harmonies by the Hive.
Although much of the excitement surrounding the release of “Sorry Not Sorry” and Khaled Khaled in general was focused on determining whether Harmonies by the Hive was actually Beyoncé, many fans have now turned their attention to Nas and Jay-flawless Z’s performance on the track, especially Hov’s smooth “triple B” bar at the start of his first verse.
It turns out that Hip-Hop fans aren’t the only ones who are going insane over Jay-wordplay, Z’s as a video has emerged of current rap star Lil Baby going insane over Jay-wordplay.
Z’s Lil Baby can be seen standing by Lil Durk in the video, and he’s positively giddy over Jay’s “triple B” line and Beyonce’s swift cameo that follows.
