Just two months after we reportedthe couple’s split, John Mulaney has filed for divorce from his wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler.
According to TMZ, Mulaney, 38, filed the application in a New York court on Friday.
There is no other information about the alleged filing available, including whether or not the former couple has already reached a property settlement.
It’s also unclear whether the pair signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying.
Mulaney’s representatives have not responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Mulaney first requested a divorce from Tendler, 36, in February, according to sources who spoke to Page Six in May.
Tendler said through a spokesman, “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. As he continues his rehabilitation, I wish him strength and success.”
After checking himself into a 60-day treatment facility in Pennsylvania for alcohol and cocaine addiction in December 2020, the comedian expressed his wish to split from Tendler.
Mulaney, who has been candid about his sobriety struggles.
Mulaney had already moved on with actress Olivia Munn, according to reports, just three days after the bombshell split was confirmed.
According to reports, the new couple met in a church in Los Angeles, California.
Munn and Mulaney have already made their connection public, beginning with a lunch date in Los Angeles in June, where an eyewitness stated the couple had a “wonderful time.”
Later, the actress from “The Newsroom” was caught leaving Mulaney’s residence in leggings and a baggy hoodie.
Mulaney and Tendler are said to have met during a trip to Martha’s Vineyard in the late 2000s.
The pair married in 2014 in Boiceville, New York, where their wedding had 1920s and woodland-deco elements.
They are not married and do not have any children together.
