Kanye West Reportedly Living At Mercedes Benz Stadium Until Donda Is Finalised

Kanye West is rumoured to be residing at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium while finishing work on his next album, Donda.

On Thursday, the 44-year-old rap musician hosted his highly hyped album’s streaming launch event there, but has yet to release the finished product.

He would have to cancel his scheduled performance at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami this weekend in order to do so, which he has apparently done.

Kanye is claimed to have hired a chef for the duration of his stay at tthestadium, which has been divided into a living space and a studio for his usage.

After photographs of him in the stands started circulating on Twitter, news of his potential home at the Mercedes Benz Stadium broke.

There was an Atlanta United FC soccer game going on at the time, and Kanye was spotted walking among the crowd.

He was, in fact, still dressed for the stage, complete with a jacket from his Gap collection and a mesh mask that fully hid his face.

Kanye’s fans were disappointed when he failed to release the album even after the release party, and on Saturday, he revealed that it would be released on August 6.

They’ve had to deal with delays on his prior albums, including his debut gospel album, Jesus Is King, which was delayed several times before finally being released.

‘Still working but almost done, we appreciate y’all patience on bro nem #DONDA #badkids #goodmusic,’ Kanye’s frequent collaborator Malik Yusef tweeted on Friday.

Kanye West and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, as well as their children, were in the audience for his Thursday listening event.

Kim was joined by her younger sister Khloe Kardashian, who was dressed in a skintight red attire that admirers noticed mirrored Kanye’s.

Kanye’s late mother, Donda, died in 2007 at the age of 58 from heart disease and post-operative complications after undergoing many cosmetic surgeries.

During the listening party, he performed Love Unconditionally, a song about his divorce from Kim, in which he sang: ‘I’m my family.’

He urges his long-lost love to ‘come back to me,’ and includes audio of Donda recalling her father’s teachings of ‘loving unconditionally’ and ‘never abandoning your family.’

During Love Unconditionally, Kanye performed on an emotional performance, even going to his knees onstage in front of Kim.

After months of speculations that her marriage to Kanye was on the verge of falling apart, Kim officially filed for divorce in February.

North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two, are said to have decided to share custody of their four children.
