Kendall Jenner Sued For Breaking Modelling Contract Of $1.8 Million

Kendall Jenner is being sued for allegedly breaking a modelling contract with Liu Jo, an Italian fashion house.

The business accused the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” actress of failing to attend for the second of two planned photoshoots, for which she was to be paid a total of $1.5 million plus a 20% service charge, in a civil lawsuit filed in a New York City court on Monday.

Liu Jo asserts Jenner, 25, photographed the first pictures in July 2019, with a second session scheduled for March 2020 in London.

Despite the fact that the firm had already given her $1.35 million of the whole amount, she was unable to go because to the coronavirus epidemic.

The parties initially decided to postpone the second filming until the autumn.

According to the documents seen by CN News, the company then “proposed multiple alternative dates and locations,” but Jenner allegedly “repeatedly failed to provide Liu Jo with definitive responses to Liu Jo’s proposals, proposed no reasonable alternatives, and ultimately turned down all of Liu Jo’s good-faith offers of compromise.”

“This action is without merit,” a spokesman for Jenner’s management firm, The Society Management, told CN News.

“On behalf of Ms. Kendall Jenner, the Society Management has repeatedly offered Liu Jo alternate dates and locations to complete a commitment that had to be postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. Jenner has volunteered to execute services in accordance with her commitments.”

Jenner also allegedly informed Liu Jo that travelling to Italy for a September 2020 shoot would be “difficult,” only to return for another brand’s campaign.

In November, the model had a star-studded birthday bash in Los Angeles.

Jenner allegedly “ceased responding” and only made contact “after Liu Jo notified her that she was in breach of the contract and that, as a result, the relationship was terminated,” according to the firm.

After paying the model for two shoots, they claim they’ve had “no luck in receiving a refund.”

“As a result of Ms. Jenner’s failure to maintain her part of the deal, Liu Jo was compelled to locate substitute models and reorganise the whole Spring/Summer 2021 photoshoot – at significant expense to Liu Jo,”Kendall Jenner Sued For Breaking Modelling Contract Of $1.8 Million the complaint claims.
