Nas has recently released the follow-up to his 2019 album King’s Disease, which includes guest performances from Eminem, Lauryn Hill, Hit-Boy, A Boogie, and others.
The reunion of Lauryn Hill and Nas, who brought us the big song “If I Ruled The World” back in 1996, is one music that fans have drawn to and are already talking about.
Now, on the new collab “Nobody,” the two hip hop legends keep it real and offer us depth, leaving fans astonished by Lauryn Hill’s amazing wordplay and excellent songwriting.
“Let me give it to you balanced and with clarity / I don’t need to turn myself into a parody / I don’t do the shit you do for popularity,” she raps.
Ms. Lauryn Hill, on the other hand, told listeners that she’s aware of all the talk about her tardiness, but she’s too busy saving lives.
“My awareness like Keanu in ‘The Matrix’ / I’m saving souls and y’all complaining about my lateness.”
She continues… “See me in my freedom taking all my land back/ They sent a lot against me thinking I’d just stand back/ I got my legs beneath me, I got my hands back/ A lot of people sabotaged, they couldn’t stand that.“
Fans have been praising Ms. Lauryn Hill’s bars on social media since the song’s debut, with almost everyone agreeing that she straight out snapped.
“Nas got Lauryn Hill rhyming in 2021…rapping rapping fr……my eyes teary man,” one person commented, while another added,
