Authorities claim a monstrous New Jersey mother fatally sliced her 4-year-old son’s throat, then dialled 911 for help with her wrist, which she injured while killing the child.
Elina Gutti, 38, allegedly murdered her son and left his body in his bedroom early on February 6, according to authorities.
According to authorities, she then contacted cops to her South Bound Brook home at 2:30 a.m., complaining about “unexplained injuries on her wrist.”
According to the charging complaint, Gutti met officers with blood on her hands when they arrived.
According to police, the cops investigated the house and discovered Gutti’s son, Aiden Singhania, with “serious lacerations to his throat” and two bloody kitchen knives on the floor next to his bed. According to police, the youngster died just after 3:15 a.m.
According to reports, Gutti was emotionless when speaking with detectives after the boy’s body was discovered, stating merely, “This is extremely serious.”
The mother recently told her ex-husband that she was depressed.
Somerset County Prosecutor Michael Robertson stated Thursday that a grand jury indicted Gutti on first-degree murder and two charges of third-degree weapon possession.
