Lori Loughlin’s social-media-famous daughter has hit back at HBO’s new “Gossip Girl” reboot’s claims that she profited from her parents’ college-admissions scandal.
Olivia Jade Giannulli, 21, was mocked on HBO’s Max when one of the characters joked that the offspring racked up followers since her parents were imprisoned for the infamous bribery scandal.
A bunch of gals on TV are talking about “losing,” with one noting it’s “bad for business.”
“As long as you win, everything will be great. Another character responds, “Olivia Jade acquired followers after her mother went to jail.”
Olivia Jade, the daughter of Mossimo Giannulli, the disgraced former “Fuller House” actress and fashion designer, shared the moment on TikTok on Saturday, massaging her head and making a what-the-hell grimace.
She shot back, “No, I didn’t,” in response to the “gained followers” remark.
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo pled guilty to conspiracy charges in federal court last year after they were accused of paying $500,000 to get Olivia Jade and her sister, Isabella Rose Giannulli, into the University of Southern California as phoney crew team recruits.
Loughlin received a two-month sentence, while Giannulli received a five-month sentence.
