In an Instagram Live on Sunday, the former Disney actress and her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, proudly flaunted their results.
In the video, she says, “Pounds down, pounds down.” “Take a look at that chin, babe.”
“I got a whole different face going on, like, it’s a complete pounds down journey,” the 35-year-old continued.
Before exclaiming, “Woo!” the former “The View” co-host revealed that she has shed a total of 28 pounds thus far.
In support, Maday, 33, added, “You’re great, honey.” “You’re doing a fantastic job.”
Symoné revealed how she’s losing weight, revealing that she’s on a 48-hour fast and had just returned from a 30-minute stroll around the neighborhood to her fans.
She and her wife also disclosed that they had gone on a joint workout “challenge,” which they will document on their YouTube channel.
Maday stated, “I think it’s safe to say it’s kind of transforming.”
“Do you see that jawline right now?” he asks. Symoné responded with a broad grin. “It appears like I have a neck!”
“Congratulations on the pounds down,” fans wrote in the comments, praising the actress for her weight loss. “I am really proud of you and delighted for you.”
“Come through the jawline!!!” said another.
Symoné revealed in 2017 that she was coping with mental health concerns as a result of years of bullying because of her weight.
She told People at the time, “I love embracing your body,” before revealing she was questioned about her size when she first started her music career. “I was too huge to perform for an hour and a half. ‘I’m not sure how she can dance when she’s so huge.'”
Symoné revealed to her “The View” co-hosts in 2015 that she had food issues while appearing on “The Cosby Show” as a child.
“I remember not being able to have the bagel or anything at — we’d call it crafty, where there’s just a table of food ready for you to eat whatever you want,” she explained. “And I recall people telling me, ‘You can’t eat it.’ ‘You’re gaining weight!’ ‘I’m seven!’ I exclaim. ‘I’m hungry!'”
