Rockstar Rod Stewart’s Wife Is Patrolling London’s Streets As A Cop

Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster isn’t one of those celebrity spouses that enjoy living it up.

Lancaster, 50, a former lingerie model, photographer, and mother of two, just completed the City of London police officer examination.

Lancaster was photographed while making rounds on her first day, catching a yob peeing on the street.

According to the UK Sun, the man, who was armed with handcuffs, a police radio, a taser, and a baton, was fast to zip up when he noticed the blonde beauty striding towards him.

According to the site, one of the city’s newest special constables told the urinator to clean up his mess.

Lancaster joined the force after appearing in the 2019 series “Famous and Fighting Crime,” in which celebrities are paired with police officers on patrol.

Lancaster joined the force after appearing in the 2019 series “Famous and Fighting Crime,” in which celebrities are paired with police officers on patrol.

Lancaster told “Good Morning Britain” that her beat goes beyond public urination: she recently assisted in the lifesaving of a suicidal lady.

“You think of cops when you think of the most violent crimes, but we’re out there to help the most vulnerable,” she explained.

“There are a lot of accidents on the bridges right now, and I helped someone who was in urgent need on the bridge the other night. It may be satisfying in a variety of ways.”

Lancaster stated that she had her husband Stewart’s full support and said, “It is risky, but the police are the public, and the people are the police. There are both men and women – siblings, sisters, aunts, aunties, we’re simply everyday people who wear the uniform to protect.”

This new step in Lancaster’s career is reminiscent of musician David Lee Roth of Van Halen, who became a licensed EMT in New York and actually performed the job in The Bronx in 2004.

Lancaster, who married her famous musician husband in 2007 and has two boys with him, Alastair, 15, and Aiden, 10, told the CN News that becoming a cop was gratifying.

To be considered for the position, she had to take examinations, train for and pass a fitness test, and interview with two officers.

“This is my identity. I could be on the red carpet with Rod or in my goats’ stable. However, there comes a point when everyone must ask himself, “Who am I?” ‘Who am I at my most fundamental level?’ This is what I believe I should have been doing all along. It’s all about identity,” she explained.
