Serge Ibaka’s Injury Status Updated Ahead Of Pivotal Game 3

The Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic were underdogs in their first-round clash against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The club was able to turn that script around in the first two games, winning big in Los Angeles. Now that the Mavericks have a 2-0 series lead, NBA fans are hoping for a Mavericks upset.

The Clippers, on the other hand, will need all hands on deck to stage a comeback, and guys like Serge Ibaka will be critical to that effort.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Ibaka will not be playing tonight due to a back problem. Ty Lue has been urged by Clippers supporters to give Serge Ibaka more playing time, and tonight could have been the occasion.

The Clippers will now be forced to function without one of their top defensive players.

The Clippers’ key players have been solid throughout the series, but it hasn’t been enough for the club to win any games.

Lue has been chastised by commentators and fans alike, so it will be interesting to watch how he fine-tunes his lineup now that he is down a guy.
