She is the granddaughter of the late Steve Irwin, the legendary Wildlife Warrior.
And one-month-old Grace Warrior looked the part on Sunday, donning the iconic Australia Zoo khakis worn by the zookeeper-turned-TV star during a nap.
For the adorable post, the newborn baby girl matched her father Chandler Powell’s attire.
Chandler captioned the photo of himself and Steve Irwin’s daughter Bindi Irwin’s infant, ‘Dad and daughter khakis.’
The post comes after it was reported that a biopic about late conservationist Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin was in the works.
Woman’s Day reports that the as-yet-untitled project is ‘gaining momentum’ in Hollywood, with major studios and A-list actors reportedly interested.
The biopic’s producers appear to be drawn to Steve’s popularity in America, where he was best known for his long-running Animal Planet television series and late-night chat show appearances in the late ’90s and early ’00s.
Australia is also one of the few locations safe for filming during the Covid-19 pandemic, which makes a biopic of a famous Australian all the more appealing.
Steve’s widow, Terri, and daughter, Bindi, are said to be involved in the film’s development. The film will chronicle Steve’s life as the son of a zookeeper growing up in Queensland in the 1970s and his rise to global fame as the larger-than-life Crocodile Hunter.
‘Steve’s international appeal, particularly to Americans, cannot be ignored, and this is not the first time [the Irwin family] has been approached about a project of this nature.’
Numerous names have been mentioned in connection with the film, with Chris Hemsworth of Marvel fame reportedly being considered for the role of Steve.
Terri, on the other hand, has reportedly stated that she would prefer a lesser-known Australian actor such as Lincoln Lewis to play her late husband.
Steve died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a wildlife documentary in Queensland. During his lifetime, he was involved in several Hollywood films.
He made a cameo appearance in Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), provided the voice for Happy Feet (2006), and co-starred in 2002’s The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course with his wife.
After Steve’s death, the Irwin family maintained a presence in the media by filming various series for Animal Planet, including the reality show Crikey! It is the Irwin family.
Additionally, they continue to operate Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
Bindi, 22, won the 2015 American version of Dancing with the Stars, rekindling interest in her family in the United States.
