After being stabbed in the chest and throat at a home in Sydney’s west, a man is fighting for his life in hospital.
On Sunday about 12.20 p.m., police were called to a home in Carramar, where they discovered a two-year-old kid with scratches.
The 22-year-old guy was transferred to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, while four other persons were treated for minor injuries at the site.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the Fairfield Police Station after the incident, according to police. She has not been charged with anything.
On the peaceful suburban street just outside the home, blood-soaked garments and bandages were spotted.
One woman was spotted chatting to police officials as another concerned man cradled a young boy, her shirt covered in blood.
When paramedics arrived, they were apparently faced with a “very hectic” situation.
According to the Daily Telegraph, NSW Ambulance Acting Inspector Braden Robinson said, “We were summoned with reports of a male stabbed, and on arrival it was a really disturbing scene.”
‘We did uncover one person with stab wounds to his stomach and neck,’ said the investigator.
‘On the spot, we also treated four more patients for superficial injuries.’
