T.I. replies to DaBaby’s horrific homophobic outburst at Rolling Loud by bringing in Lil Nas X.
T.I. appears to believe that DaBaby should be free to disseminate his gay hatred as he sees fit, adding that he doesn’t mind DaBaby’s terrible words at this weekend’s Rolling Loud festival.
DaBaby embarked on an unprompted rant against the LGBTQ+ community and persons with AIDS and HIV+ statuses during his performance at Rolling Loud this weekend.
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of those fatal sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll kill you in two to three weeks,” the Charlotte-raised rapper remarked during his concert.
“Put your cellphone light in the air if your pussy smells like water, ladies. Put your smartphone lighter up, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot.”
Fans are deleting his music from their libraries and calling him out on social media for his insensitive remarks, which are making headlines this morning.
T.I., who has been accused of rape, sexual assault, and drugging hundreds of times in the last year, hasn’t objected to anything DaBaby has stated.
T.I. believes that if Lil Nas X can be proudly gay, DaBaby should be able to be unashamedly homophobic as well.
T.I. said in The Shade Room’s comments, “If Lil Nas X can kick his shit in peace… so could dababy [shrugging emoji] #equality.”
So, because one artist is being himself without apology and inspiring gay men and LGBTQ+ youngsters all over the world, other artists should be able to make filthy, unprompted, and vile homophobic remarks? No, no, no. That’s not the case.
