According to a new report, talks between Prince Harry and senior members of the royal family have stalled due to constant leaks “from the Sussex side.”
Following Prince Philip’s funeral last week, discussions between the two sides broke down, and Harry met privately with his brother, Prince William, and their father, Prince Charles, to work out their differences.
But no “meaningful talks” have taken place since then, according to the Sun, with aides becoming more worried about private information that have emerged in recent news reports about the famously private family.
The aides cited articles published after Harry’s return to California, including a People magazine report about a private phone call between Meghan Markle, her and Harry’s 1-year-old son, Archie, and Queen Elizabeth prior to Philip’s funeral.
Omid Scobie, a biographer of Harry and Meghan, recently said that Markle had spoken to the Queen twice.
According to Scobie, who cited sources close to Harry, “Saturday broke the ice for potential conversations,” but “outstanding problems have not been discussed at any great length.”
“The family simply put their problems aside to concentrate on what was important.”
The Sun, however, stated that no progress had been made between the famous siblings after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex split from the royal family last year.
According to the Sun, Harry is scheduled to return to the UK on July 1 for the unveiling of a statue in honour of his late mother, Princess Diana.
