Tiffany Haddish admitted to having her first orgasm while watching Nicolas Cage threaten John Travolta in the 1997 action film “Face/Off.”
Haddish, 41, told NPR on Tuesday, “It was my first big O.”
The sassy actress, who co-stars with Cage in the upcoming film “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” was impelled to tell the Oscar winner about her wonderful experience on set in 2020.
The “Bad Trip” actress revealed she hesitated to convey her bombshell truth to Cage while filming because she was initially scared to share her seductive story with him.
She admitted to having an internal battle over telling the anecdote, saying, “It was a debate.” “ ‘Should I inform Nicolas Cage? This is not acceptable. I don’t want him to accuse me of sexual harassment, but I have to tell him.'”
When Haddish felt her uneasy feelings were beginning to damage her relationship with the “National Treasure” star, she decided to spill the truth.
She stated, “You could tell he was getting agitated, and I was like, “Look, I’m really terrified by you, and I need to tell you something,”
” ‘I have to tell you this story, man, and everything will be alright after I tell you this story.’
Haddish revealed that she and her then-boyfriend went to see “Face/Off” at a completely empty movie theatre when they were 17 years old.
She began making out with her date during the semiprivate screening, and their intense lovemaking pushed Haddish to a climax.
And the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was Cage’s steely stare shining from the enormous screen.
Haddish laughed as he added, “As I was achieving a significant moment that I had never experienced in my life.” “I open my eyes, and Nicolas Cage’s eyes are staring into mine, incredibly large.”
When she saw the star of “Snake Eyes” in person, she said the heated experience came flooding back to her.
“Now I’m standing across from this man with the same huge old eyeballs,” Haddish explained, “and all I can think about is the guy I went to the movies with and how we were making out and then that feeling, and then how awkward I feel recalling this in front of him.”
Fortunately, Haddish’s orgasmic admission broke the ice with Cage, who she claims “laughed very hard” at the titillating story.
Cage compared her risqué recounting to one his ex-wife, actress Patricia Arquette, told him immediately before they married in 1995, according to the “Girls Trip” star.
“You know, my first wife saw me in a movie and said she wanted to marry me, and we ended up marrying,” he says.
Haddish mocked Cage’s signature cadence. In 2001, he and Arquette divorced.
Haddish, on the other hand, didn’t find Cage’s story particularly compelling.
“I answered, ‘Yeah, well, I didn’t say I was going to marry you, nor did I let you put your fingers anywhere on me, OK?,’ ” the hilarious frontwoman verified with the “Con Air” lead.
Haddish continued, “I’m just letting you know that this is an idea that’s been running through my mind, and it’s distracting me from performing my job.”
“But now that I’ve informed you, I think everything will work out.”
The film “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” starring Haddish and Cage, will be released in 2022.
