Tiger Woods was involved in a terrifying car accident in February that could have claimed his life. The golf legend was taken out of his car with the jaws of life after sustaining several leg injuries.
Woods had to have surgery while in the hospital to repair some of the damage to his lower extremities, and it appears that he would have to go through a year of rehabilitation, if not more.
Last month, Woods was granted permission to return home, and he has since released a letter to his fans, thanking them for their unwavering support.
Now, Woods has resurfaced on social media, this time on Instagram, where he shared a picture of himself smiling while also providing a brief update on his recovery.
Woods joked, “My course is progressing faster than I am. But it’s great to have a dependable recovery buddy, man’s best friend,” says the narrator.
Given all that has happened in the last few months, it’s wonderful to see Woods laughing and enjoying himself.
While it may be some time before we see him on the golf course again, there is no doubt that he is as determined as ever to return and dominate.
