Trey Songz’s legal situation has not been looking good recently.
On the one side, the recording artist received word late last month that he will not face charges in connection with his viral arrest at a Kansas City Chiefs game.
However, it was revealed earlier this week that Songz was being sued for allegedly assaulting a venue’s bartenders.
The 36-year-old was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run collision, adding to his legal woes.
Law enforcement sources responded to a situation involving Songz and a woman who says the singer hit her car, injuring her side, before driving away, according to TMZ.
According to law enforcement reports, the singer and an unidentified woman got into an altercation while in their respective cars shortly after midnight on Thursday.
The dispute is said to have gotten out of hand, and the woman told police that Trey had hit her car at one point.
She then got out to threaten him, at which point Songz allegedly sped away and struck her in the hand with his car.
Officers were dispatched, but when they arrived, Trey had already vanished. It was classified as a hit-and-run by police.
According to accounts, the woman complained of hand pain but did not seek medical help. It’s unclear why they were fighting right now, but there’s no evidence of a previous relationship between them.
The claims, according to a source close to Trey’s team, are absolutely false. We’ll keep you updated if the suspected hit-and-run incident is investigated further.
He was recently let off the hook for his altercation with a cop during a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game, as previously mentioned.
