Young Thug undeniable influence on contemporary rap and trap music can be heard in many artists that came after him, and he is now regarded as one of the most influential figures of his generation of rappers.
Nonetheless, his illustrious career has undoubtedly brought him great financial success.
Thugger has a lot to brag about, having gained popularity solely through his mixtapes before launching his first official studio album So Much Fun in 2019 to rave reviews and a No. 1 debut.
Following the release of the YSL compilation Slime Language 2, the Atlanta native took time to focus on his accomplishments while also teasing new music for fans.
Thugger flaunted his various RIAA certifications and plaques in a video posted to his Instagram page earlier this week.
As an unknown camera mean panned over plaques for Slime Season 3, Barter 6, and other shows, many of the plaques stayed in plastic.
As the camera pans, Thugger is seen lying on a pillow next to a teddy bear. He recently received a slew of new gold and platinum plaques, taking his total to thirty-seven.
He previewed an unreleased track that was well suited for the film, in addition to showing off his RIAA plaques.
There is currently very little information available about the single, which is rumored to be called “Hate the Game.”
The song, which was allegedly produced by London on da Track, is currently lacking in specifics, but fans believe it will appear on his upcoming second album.
